Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation refers to a broad variety of therapies administered by doctors and Allied Health practitioners with the aim of harnessing brain and muscle reserve through targeted interventions (such as Botulinum Toxin), focussed exercise programs, home modifications and mobilisation of community resources.
Neurorehabilitation can be undertaken on an outpatient or inpatient basis and is a strong focus of Dr Shin’s rehabilitation practice. Dr Shin is a Visiting Medical Officer to Hunters Hill Private Hospital, where, in addition to providing general rehabilitation services, she is the clinical lead to the Parkinson’s Reconditioning Program.
